A. Introduction​

Welcome to the User Manual for the Quantification Analytics Tool (QAT)! The Quantification Analytics Tool (QAT) is a modernized solution for country-led forecasting and supply planning. QAT has a forecasting module and a supply planning module, and can be used for any health commodity.

A.1 Intended Audience​

This manual is designed for end-users, providing comprehensive information on system functionality, workflows, and best practices.

If you'd like overview & background information on QAT, please see the About Section to understand what QAT is, who should use QAT, the history of QAT, and the QAT Global Footprint.

Technical administrators should view the Developer and API sections.

B. Important QAT Concepts & Terms​

  • Forecasting: An estimate or prediction of the quantities of products to be consumed by clients or consumers over a future period.
  • Supply Planning: The component of supply chain management focused on fulfilling demand plan requirements. The goal is to balance supply and demand to meet the financial and service delivery objectives of the health program.
